135th in Mood?!?

Thank you, everyone who played and rated TtEotWaB! I never would have imagined that an uncomplete experimental game made in only around 15 hours would have placed so high.

Looking forward to seeing everyone for Ludum Dare 50!

A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

I knew my game would score pretty high for humor, but wow, 5th is really something special. Thank you so much to everyone that played and rated! Really encouraging for my first game jam :D results.png

Can't wait to get up to more mischief next time >:) mwahaha.png

Wooosh great results tbh!

Another ld gone, this one was very special for me for several reasons, I managed to make it for the compo once again! and with pretty good results actually

My first Ludum Jam turned out... Great! You are all awesome.

This was my first Ludum Jam and I have to say... thank you everyone! The amount of positivity and talent I saw in this Jam was overwhelming. I had a lot of fun, and lots of people also had fun playing my game. There isn't anything else I could possibly ask for. I love making games, I love every inch of the process and this jam reaffirmed that for me. Scratch that I maybe don't love bug fixing lol.

But anyway, I just want to say thank you to everyone who played my game and also thank you to anyone whose game I played because all of them were awesome. I think I will be giving the ludum jam another try in 2022, looking forward to becoming a part of this community.

To celebrate, I made a timelapse of my game creation process. It was like 4 minutes since it was at 100x but it contained a few frames of my conversation with friends on discord so actually I got nothing... I gotta respect my homies' privacy. Editing that would take a while but if anyone is actually interested i'll spare the time.

Hey who knows maybe I'll force one of them to join me for this jam next time and then our conversations would be fair game hehehe.

Here is a link to my game page if anyone still wants to see the finished timelapse less product.

Top 100!!! Not too shabby

Screenshotem20211022-114216/emBrave.jpg As always, I'm genuinely surprised at how well I did. I seem to have nailed the humour and mood aspects this time around too, hah! I never thought I'd get this high in these categories and yet here we are. Thanks again for playing Antenna Antics, and I will see you in the Big 50!

Keep it up

Improvement!!

Hi everyone, so happy to have participated in ld49!! Thanks to everyone who played our game!

Really happy with the improvement we made in ratings this time around! Most proud of breaking 200 in fun! We literally watched some videos on how to make a game more fun before the jam and I think it actually helped! Our best scores are always in humor and strangely enough, we don't even try for that....seems to just happen somehow:) Looking forward to the next one!

A Game About a Drunken Bounty Hunter?

unknown.png

Okay, so I share your sentiment. Fun was certainly the most lacking trait for this game (right after any sort of audio/sfx  )

But you guys are way too kind with that graphics rating! How a game about a drunken bounty hunter gets 9th overall in graphics I do not know (it was the huge booty wasn't it? see below) but I am very humbled and giddy at that result.

This jam was great, making the game on stream (ahem, shameless plug: http://twitch.com/cinderblockcreates) was great (read: tiring), and overall the submissions were fantastic!

I hope to see you guys again in a few months, and until then, yeehaw pardners.

Pretty good results for Dogs++ !

I came 6th overall! Nice!

Screen Shot 2021-10-21 at 19.07.06.png

It's pretty good, especially as I didn't get to everything I wanted to, and didn't even have the game loop done until near the end of the last day haha.

Interestingly, "overall" was my best category, and there wasn't any outstanding results in the other categories. Seems fair, I don't think I strongly excelled in any specific one, but often a game also needs to do well in one specific category to get a high overall score.

I'm going to keep tweaking the game (I'm currently adding touch controls for mobile), so if you want to stay tuned, follow me on twitter: @jezzamonn or itch.io: jezzamon.itch.io!

I got a trophy!

I'm kind of "veteran" in Ludum Dares but this is my first Compo entry and it was tough to make every single asset by my own, without a team to help. I've made this game after seeing a sad news about food instability in my country and I put all my frustrations in its development, it was a way I found to deal with that.

Thanks to all of you, my dev collegues.
