How to create team for Ludum Dare ?
Good Luck everyone !
Will take it easy though :) Sleep well, eat good and try to be less ambitious about whatever game I could make lol
4/21/2017 - 10:30 pm (Lisbon Time) I'm about to go to sleep for 3.5 hours. I'll be waking up at 2 am (my time) when the theme is announced;
I'm still unsure if I will be able to submit a running game, but still, good luck to everyone! ;)
Weapon of choice: Unity and others I don't know yet :)
And thanks Mike for continually working on this site
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
i'll probably compete in the jam, using unity. I dunno yet though
I'm planning on making something for the 48 hr compo.
I'll be using UE4 & VS2015 with programmer art being made in Blender/GIMP. Sound effects will be generated in bfxr (or similar).
Hey guys, Im in, and will be using Unity, have great fun everyone!
...probably not. Although I've done plenty of other gamejams, so there's much I can teach you young Padawan.
For example, did you know:
So go easy on the tea/coffee/redbull people!
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this. Especially as I'll be taking part at a real-world meetup in Plymouth, UK
This will be my first Ludum after wanting to do it forever. I'll be going solo and using PhaserJS since it's what I know best as a web guy.
I have time off of work and I am ready to rock!
I'm going to use:
Test.
Looking forward to shaking some rust off the ole' game jam making machinery. Woo! :)
Due to it being my birthday during the event, I thought that I would buy myself a new keyboard (more specifically, one that doesn't make a sound so that I don't wake anyone one at 2:00am) and a new graphics tablet. This time around, I have prepared with a schedule so that I know exactly what I am doing and how long I shall spend on each section of development (including coffee breaks).
Tools I will be using: Art: Paint.NET Sound: FL Studio / Audacity Development Environment: Game Maker: Studio Professional Edition I was going to use C++ with Code::Blocks but I am still learning how to fully use the language to a high enough extent to program graphical content efficiently and quickly.
Good luck to everyone else, let's have some fun and make some games!
I'm working in a team for the first time (with soxfox) so that's awesome! He will be doing art. This will be my 8th ludum dare. As usual, I'll be recording a time lapse for my youtube channel (OfficialCodingNetwork).
IDE: Eclipse Language: Java Audio: Musescore + (possibly) either bfxr or boss rc-505 (or both) Recording: OBS
Good luck everyone! ^.^ :D :3

Third LD we'll be joining, with a new team member in our ranks! We'll be using:
Music + sounds: -FL studio -LMMS -Bfxr (maybe)
Code: -Visual studio + C# + Monogame (and xml files / tiled)
Art: -Gimp -Pixly (if we choose to do pixel art) -Whatever Rob uses for his drawings (probably MS paint)
Have fun everyone!
