Was a little late to the voting :flushed:, looks like I've only half the votes needed to enter, if anyone can spare a minute (it's really short) and play my game that would be greatly appreciated! Technically I didn't finish my gameplay, but I'd still like feedback on graphics and mood as I spent (perhaps to my own detriment) a lot of time on them, here's an image of the game.

I was trying to fuse tower defence with a card game and... programming a card game is perhaps too much for my rather slow programming abilities :stuckouttongue:. Not an issue though, LD is always a learning experience and now I know if I it's too complicated to explain in less than 30 seconds on day 1, it's too complicated to make in 2 days, haha.

Looking forward to play some of the winners, certainly think I've already played a few.

* MY GAME*

In this picture I want to show some of the concepts prior to the development of Survaby. When I make a jam, I like to spend long times thinking about the game we are going to develop. I think it's more important to spend time on the concept than to start immediately.

As you can see in the image, there are several games concepts. One of them is a sketch of a soccer-races game. In the upper part, the original idea of ​​Survaby appears, where you had the cradles scattered around the room, not as it was finally in the game, grouped in one of the sides. By the way, early name for Survaby was "Baby Care Apocalypse". Wich one do you prefer?

Now announcing: the first post-LD update for The Mad King's Tournament!

This patch contains the much-requested fullscreen mode and multi-resolution support, and also fixes a bug where not enough food was spawning! Enjoy!

I plan to release another, much bigger, update later tonight that I've been working on as well! New features will include greatly-improved AI and combat! And now that I'm done with finals and graduation and all that mess, I'll be hopefully releasing some new updates every day until LD ends, including planned features like Skills, Magic, and Crafting!

Also, in recognition of the rapidly-approaching deadline, I am taking this opportunity to announce that EVERY SINGLE PERSON who rates (and comments) on The Mad King's Tournament in the next 48 hours will receive a rating and comment from me as well! We're almost there, let's get other's games past the 20-rating marks!

For those that haven't seen or played it yet, The Mad King's Tournament is a combination of a text-based adventure and a battle royale! You wake up in a mysterious arena and must fight hunger, thirst, and 99 other competitors to make it out alive!
