I’m in
Probably in the Jam with a friend, but I’m in anyway!
This will be my first LD, though I make games for a little while now…
I will code in AS3 with FlashDevelop (best IDE ever! ^^)
Can’t wait!

Can’t wait!
So I will be participating in the Jam with two friends (Carduus for the graphics, Mathieu for the music).
I’ll code in AS3 with FlashDevelop (probably no framework) and I’ll make a timelapse of it.
I’ll be tweeting: http://twitter.com/#!/OIIOIIOI
I’ll be on IRC on the official chan and on the french one.
And I’ve set up a blog where I will post our progression and stuff like that: http://01101101.fr/ld48/
Can’t wait for this to start! 😀
Good luck to you all!
Also, no kittens, thank you 😉

Character design and animation in progress, code too (though not much to show right now)…

The Bodyguard 😉

In the name of the solidarity between compoers and jammers 😉 here is a little demo of our game.
http://01101101.fr/ld48/
We need to sleep a few hours now x)
Wow.
This last day has been REALLY hard…
There is still a lot of little things I would like to change, and the alternate ending we wanted is not in this version, but at least we did complete a full version in time.
Those little corrections will have to wait though: can’t do any more tonight.
Thanks to everyone who commented, tested, and followed us during the jam.
Thanks to the Ludum Dare team and participants, it was a really great adventure…
Thanks to Motion-Twin for inviting us to its IRL gathering: Deepnight, Warp, Bumdum, and of course Eole 😉
I won’t hesitate to say “I’m in” for the next one!
Here is the link to the latest version of our game:

Our timelapses are online, yay!
Check them out here:

I’ll go write a post mortem now 😉
My postmortem is online, at last.
Now I should really get back to work (with pauses once in a while to rate games ^^)
http://01101101.fr/ld48/
Just like last time, I (developer) am in for the Jam with Carduus (graphic design) and Mathieu (music).
We got the 3d place in December, so we’re gonna have to do even better! 😀
(and Mathieu will have to defend its gold medal for audio ^^)
Can’t wait for this 10th anniversary LD!
Good luck everyone
(Also, both the other members of our team will be participating as well!)

Now that our friends Thotor, Valandre, Deepnight and Ben have submitted their compo games (go check them out, they’re awesome! ^^), Carduus and I are back at my place for the last day of the Jam.
Here is a screenshot of the lab where the game takes place (click for full size).
Quite a mess uh? These mad scientists, always leaving expensive stuff hanging around…
So yeah, we are still alive and making progress! ![]()
Good luck to the other jammers out there!

Hi!
We just uploaded the final, “enhanced” version of Exposed, our jam submission \o/
It’s playable right here and the entry page is here!
If you’re going to rate it though, play the “72 hours” version first to be fair to the others who did not work on their game after the submission.
But if you feel like it, play the final version after that, it’s much more understandable and fun! ![]()
Carduus put together a timelapse as well. Those of you who played the game and didn’t find the surprise will have a piece of it at the end of the video ![]()
And, as I am sure this will speak to a lot of you, here is an illustration of our pitiful state at the end of this 3-days jam ![]()

This jam was the second participation for Carduus, Mathieu and I.
Just like last time we were gathering with a bunch of other LDarers.
Among them: Deepnight, Ben, and our own colleagues from Procedural Activity: Thotor and Valandre.
We all had a really great time and can’t wait until the next LD ![]()
Be sure to give a try to these games, they are really nice! ![]()
And try this one as well: Nasty Bubbly by our friends with totally legit doctor names.

You need coffee? no ? I need coffee, COFFEE TO WORK F-F-FASTER !! Gah !
To more pressure !
Hi guys, we spent our week to finish “Promoted!”
We are polishing it right now,
Hope you will be able to play it this week-end.

We finally found time to complete our LD game! \o/
We only had 2 out of 4 gameplays at the end of the competition, but we decided to finish the game anyway, so there it is!
A timelapse from Carduus will be posted soon.
To those who rated our game despite it being incomplete, thank you!
We managed to get in the top 10 in Humour and Graphics, which we find a bit crazy for an unfinished game…
Anyway, we hope you will enjoy it, and don’t hesitate to give us your feedback!
Here are some screens of the 4 different mini-games :
Oh and there’s also a Drunk Mode…
Will you find how to activate it? ^^

This time I will be participating in the Jam for the fourth time, not with Carduus as usual, but with a bunch of old friends
We will use this blog to post our detailed progress, and we will post here as well for important updates as we go along.
For those interested, we will have a livestream running, with multiple cams, screens and all that silly stuff
The wonderful Haxe language, the excellent FlashDevelop IDE and GitHub. Grmpf and I will handle this part.
To make art:A Wacom Intuos 2 A3 tablet and some kind of image editor, or maybe paper, ink, watercolor and a scanner
noc. will be the guy behind all this.
A bunch of Android devices and a Guitar Hero drum set as MIDI controllers, and possibly real instruments as well. Capt. CAPSLOCK will manage this part…
We can’t wait to get started! Have fun and good luck to everyone!

Here are some photographs of the first drawings and music sessions
The story is about a Scarecrow and a Bird. You will choose your villain side throughout the game…
Who will be the most villain???
We spent the night toghether with Jérôme who installed and configured the Livestream and by noon, Youlen joined us for a saxophone session.
The Bird theme music has been recorded. Our inspiration : Evil Surf Music!!! Directed by Capt. Capslock.
Guitar Hero Drums & Keyboards: Capt. Capslock – Guitar and Bass: Fleacontent – Saxophone: Youlen

Fleacontent
Work in progress :
Here is the background of the game. You can see the (not so) nice scarecrow and the (not so) cute bird !!
I think I’ve seen a poo falling…
As for the music, Capt. Capslock has just started to record the music theme for the scarecrow… If you want to follow the session, it’s right here ! Don’t miss it, it will be lengen … (wait for it) dary … !!
