Hiya hi! My name is Simul (Espeon#0001 on Discord), and I'm most definitely a newcomer to the Ludum Dare and... jams as a whole! Ludum Dare 48 will be my first GameJam ever, eheh!
I'm a programmer and story designer coming from Oklahoma heavily inspired by the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, and man is this somethin' amazing! I've spent two years now preparing for ideas like this through trade school, and now I can't wait to get started! I'm proud to be in such a large community of game creators like me, and I'm happy that I'll be able to finally join you all in four and a half days!
For this competition, I'm being joined by my great friend Kereli! (@kereli)
Together, we've been planning for some time now to create a long-term project with each other, and this definitely is quite the preparation and team-building for us I'd say! We're both big fans of many things together, and I can't wait to see what we can come up with!
But hey, thank you all for having me! I'm happy to be a part of this month's Jam, and I wish everyone involved good luck! I hope I can use this experience to make myself a better developer as a whole, and that we all have the best time possible! Have a wonderful day! :D

Woohoo~! I'm happy to say that I have officially completed my first ever GameJam game! I'm happy as all heck to be here with you all, and I can't wait to see how things go from here! You can find mine over at: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/vulcans-tomb/

Vulcan’s Tomb is a game that takes you down between three different floors, as the treasure you’re hunting is its own defense! Take flight as you fight for your life and the treasure at stake, dodging attacks and smacking them against this beast as it takes you down lower and lower into Vulcan’s Tomb! The treasure can only fight for so long, so live on for as long as you can!
