Having been fortunate enough to see people play my game first hand through either streams or watching over a friend's shoulder (if you haven't seen someone play your game, you must. It's magical), a common frustration/confusion seems to be around button clicks not being recorded.
They always were being recorded and this is evidenced by showing the player's choices at the end of the game, however by adding a little sound effect and adjusting the colour when a button is clicked it should leave players free to focus on what is happening before their eyes and not wondering if the game is broken.
I also decided to add a clock ticking sound effect for every opportunities that begin to fade. You haven't entirely missed them yet, but you have to act soon or that door will soon close.
Lastly, I changed the static in the first screen to be something a bit more soothing, to match the tone of the rest of the game
If you've played the game and it spoke to you the way it did to me and to many others, please share it with a friend or loved one so they can also enjoy the experience
