Just started my project. Going to be a combination of Breakout, and Match 3 type game, in a dialog box environment. Hopefully, everyone will enjoy it.
I am streaming on YouTube, under BeebsterGames. Will post a screenshot when I have something cool.

Just a reminder for everyone. Make a backup of everything... Often.
Over forty years as a programmer has taught me to back up.
Still moving along. Game is pretty much finished, but, it has a design flaw that is explained in the video.
Take a look...

The game is finished, I will have all the links on the software publishing page

Spent some time cleaning up logic, fixed a few bugs, found some bugs, and fixed them. The game looks completed now, hope you all enjoy it.
I learned a lot from these last few days, for someone my age that is saying something.
Enjoy the game...
I had some guys tell me and actually had a screen shot of getting above level 100. I adjusted the scoring so that it is probasbly not going to happen now.
The game is up on the link

Excited for this Ludum Dare. It's going to bwe a real corker.
I'm going to use Godot to build my masterpiece.
My themes are
"Keep em' guessing..." and "A roll of the dice".
Good luck to everyone!!
So, I thought long and hard. Scoured my brain and my past seventy years of experience in life and have come up with these two powerful themes:
As the title suggests, simple, yet filled with endless possibilities.
Oh, and I also have some framework for games that match these themes.
Just sayin'

Is there a way to get a list of all the suggestions. Some of them are excellent idea stimulators for games.
This will be my second LD. The first one I had a hosted website so I just put my game and my code on there for download. This time around I do not have an ISP for hosting.
Where do I upload my game and my source code for those who want to play the game or view the source?
So, I thought that
and my favorite
might be cool this time around
I'm going to use Godot 4.0. I have been working really hard lately on getting up to speed in their 2D functions and have built a small but fun game. Hopefully it should be finished by weeks end. I might put it up on itch.io
Is there a way to allow a download of the slaughtered list? It would be great as an inspiration for new game ideas
No matter what happens I am going to write a game with the theme "Pick up the Poop!" It is going to be epic,
Hello all. I uploaded my little Asteroids like game to itch.io.

I am not sure how to publish a game here. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated

Getting pretty excited, and at 70 years old that is saying something!!
Here are my votes:

So, I was inspired with all the poems and Commandments and such that I wrote a poem. I wrote the poem. This is not ChatGPT, or any AI, this is just me being silly.
I streamed it so I could bring you:
An Ode to Ludum-Dare: A Band of Brothers

I suppose you could say that I narrowed my picks a pit.
Parasite really looks good to me

So, in the world of programming, you never finish a project, you just run out of time. That being said, this is my submission for Ludum Dare 53
https://youtube.com/live/-0GUPQwo3D8
Inspiration was my wife, my son, and my two grandsons Testers were my Son, and two grandsons
Graphics were from https://game-endeavor.itch.io/mystic-woods
Music and Sound FX were from https://freesound.org/
The Sorceress was a single page sprite sheet from a Google Search
The Title, Win, Lose, Graphics screens were generated by Image Creator
The Engine was Godot 4.0
The 600 or so lines of code, were GDscript and me.
Enjoy
