Aside from the lack of time to balance the powers of the creatures scattered in the world of Crave, we've also missed the opportunity to showcase a rather significant part of the game's system to its full ability: The AI! Each creature has a handcrafted behaviour in the world, and it's really easy to miss when you're out there trying to survive T_T Anyways, I'll be sharing some of these creatures' unique traits with everyone!

Snow Fox

The Snow Fox was crafted around the idea of the animal being a stealth hunter, hiding from prey and predator alike and striking hard and fast when their target least expects it. In a similar vein, if you find this cute little critter in the Snowy lands of the Tundra and they've set their sights on you, they will disappear into a puff of smoke and try to land a critical hit! Plus, their jaws have a little stun to hold you down. The counter? Their damage is actually pretty low (they're weaker than chickens without their invisibility crits), plus they've got a really small health pool! If you've managed to consume the snow fox, you'll be able to use their nifty tricks against other creatures, or straight up hide away from the terrifying Wraith itself if you need to!
Crocodile

The crocodile was a fun one: we didn't even know if the idea would work, so it was a pleasant surprise when we started dragging other creatures around in-game. Just as a crocodile irl tends to dash towards their prey at high speeds before pulling them into the water with their powerful jaws, the crocs found in the swamps would do pretty much the same thing, save the hiding part - notice how they won't shoot but try to dash up close to you? If you let them get close enough, they'll haul you around, bleeding you out before firing a few more shots to finish the job. Deal with them by firing from afar! Then you'll be able to drag other creatures around xD It's not the most damage, but it's really fun to do it :P
