Oh yeah, my first Ludum Dare (and my first post, also)! I’m a french student in game design at Isart Digital. I’m working with html5, and I can’t wait to start!
We are ready at Isart Digital. Waiting for the theme of the edition!
We’re making a Warmup at Isart Digital. 5 hour,a game with assets… And the Ludum Dare can start!
The theme is Tiny World. Working on concepts.
Here is my template:

So I have the project to make a tactical game, where you must defend your little world attacked by terrible aliens (or other strange cool things from another world). Working on the prototype, I would like it to be played with the mouse….
Well, it’s very hard to use te mouse, especially to shot. I tried a long part of the night, but the way to do this is too complex/strange/lame. But maybe some features with the mouse, I really would like it.
The game is evolving. I’m currently making spawn the ennemies randomly.
After some problems with the spawn of the mobs, everything (well, almost everything) is okay. Working on some features to make a more interesting game! You can destroy the monsters, but power-ups are still missing for the moment.
So, the game is on a good way. I have a good protype, without bugs, I’m now working on some adjustements in gameplay and difficulty. Then, new graphics, sounds, and polish!
So, It was a bit long. But I took the time to polish it a bit, and I’m pretty proud of the result. Of course it’s not finish, there’s still much work, and I have many ideas for the game (named “Down”, by the way). But this prototype is cool, pretty fun, and I hop you will enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it!

The last version of my game is now playable on my website!
Follow the link, and have fun:

This night I polished the game. The difficulty is now less randomless, with a progression curve. Also, all the graphics have been remade. I’m still working on new options and things I would like to imlement in the game, like new items, secrets, and a system to buy items during the game. More news soon!
For the moment, I can invite you to try the game at this adress:

Have fun!
My game is now finished.
In “Down”, you are a good informatic program which tries to defend his daddy CPU against viruses.
I’m very happy to have contributed to the Ludum Dare. It was my very first participation, and it was a very good experience. Making a game in 48 hours (well, a bit less) is very excit
ing and I learnt many thing during these 2 days. For sur, I’ll be there for the next Ludum Dare(s).
I hope you will like my game! Here is the link:

Thanks to the creators of the Ludum Dare and thanks to all of the participants. Please, keep making games
Thomas
Some little changes in my code, a last check to see if everything is okay… I can now submit my game! So, “Down” is submitted
You can play the final version at this adress:

I hope you will enjoy it!
Back for this next Ludum Dare! This time,we are making the jam, me and three other friends. I can’t wait to start.
Ok, so the theme is ‘Evolution’. Allright. I’m going to introduce ourselves. We are four students: three in Game Design and one in Game design programming (the coder :p). We are currently figuring out the game we are going to make. We have a good idea, and are trying to develop it. More news soon, and thanks for your attention
Make good art!
In France it’s nearly 7 am. We are still working on our game. Now the concept is chosen, and we started level design, graphics and code. We are using Unity in a 2D view to make the game. Some visuals soon! But maybe some sleep before…
Here is another character of the story… It reminds me someone… maybe in a game? I d’on’t remember. Seems very friendly anyway.
