I’ll be participating!
This is my first Ludum dare, and I’m going to be participating with my cousin in the jam. I’ll be using Java or Lua with either LWJGL or LÖVE. I’ll be using Audacity for sounds and Paint.NET for sprites. So, that’s like, it.

My idea is as follows: the player gets a 32×32 grid with trees, rocks and sand. The player then has to advance through the ages with increasingly good technology. The art style will be isometric, although I don’t know if it can be considered true isometric. The graphics will be easily exchangeable by replacing the sprites bundled with the game.
Oh, and the starting world will be randomly generated with a properties file where one can change the stats for their world.
If you’re tired, go out for a jog, if it isn’t pitch black in your area/you can’t go out jogging for other reasons. I promise you that you will regain a lot of your energy, even with only 5 minutes of jogging. I just followed my own advice and I’m getting incredible progress with my game already!
