First Mesh.

After a long time for find a game concept, this is my first mesh :

coffre

It’s a Blender render, and the mesh actually has no textures.

My tools for this Ludum Dare are : Blender for 3D modelisation, Inkscape for textures and sprites, Psycle and bfxr for music (if I have time) and GameStart for game engine.

Bad Thief, First render

This is a game engine render of my game 3d models :

render1

The player is a bag thief (litteraly) and the concept of the game is : in a first time the bag is empty (small and light), when the bag is full the character is slow and big.

The next steps are : end the modelisation, begining programmation and create the first level.

More test scene

A other gamestart test scene :

render2

Now the to do list is : ajust light, begin programming, finish the animation models,, create the level and create sounds.

Last screen of the day

It’s finish for this day.

render3

This is my roadmap for tomorow :

  • animate the character
  • ending the progammation
  • create a level(s)
  • making sounds (and music)

He walk

The player walk and jump now !

render4

Actually I finish the programmation and bug fixs, and after i create one level (and more if I have time), sounds, and animate the character.

LD26

I’m ready

I’m ready for the Ludum Dare :

Game engine : Gamestart
Graphic tools : Inkscape and Gimp
Code tools : Eclipse for Squirrel
Video record : Chronolapse and Afterburner

Idea concept

This is my game concept : the player see a small part of the screen, he can throw a small light for see farther and fire with a bullet for kill the ennemies.
