I can’t belive that i’ve never heard of Ludum Dare! It’s my first time so I will try my best! That’s what i use:

• Middleware Game Maker 8.1
• PhotoFiltre
• Camtasia Studio 5 for making timelapse

And yes! My goal is to work whole 48 hours without sleep. Let’s hope for great theme!

Ludum Dare #24 Timelapse

Did anyone made game about Neil Armstrong on LD24?

It seems that many people has/had some problems with my game. Today i sit and recorded whole game step by step.

I think this should solve all problems.

I am so exited! It’ll be my second Ludum Dare. Last one was awesome, so I hope this will be same, or even better!
I will be using GameMaker Studio Free from Steam, PhotoFiltre 7 for graphics, sfxr and Lemon’s Procedural Music Generator for music, and foobar2000 to entertain myself. ^^

There is also my work space and some things to eat in night, and yes, it’s a couch! As always I hope I will be awake all the time, but that means over 60h without sleep! 😀 Even more it’s only 15 degrees in my room so i’d may freeze to death. 😛

Of course I am going to do timelapse, but now it’s time for small nap.

Call me crazy, but I just finished brainstorming with myself alone… in sleep. It’s like superpower! What my game idea is? I’ll do death worm for two players. I am not so good at graphic so it won’t be impressive.
And of course I’ve got a goat! Maybe she doesn’t look good but she’s my, and I LOVE HER!

It seems like many people has trouble with jumping on first platform in my game, so here you can see how this looks. Sorry for low FPS, but my PC cannot record it better.

There’s no time to write a post! Just look at screenshot:

Procedurally generated dungeon + A* pathfinding AI. :D

Now I need to implement some kind of fighting,  equipement and starts drawing sprites!

Game coming nicely, but I wasted too much time fixing pathfinding bug. No wonder why there are 7 days  in #7DRL! Now I need to make stairs to lower levels, and equipment!

I'm really busy. I'll be having booth on convention next weekend and I'm not prepared yet. I wasn't planning on participating. But I saw the theme and I cannot resist. I'll be making small game in GameMaker: Studio 1.4. 2D Circular word with destructible terrain. Self made water physics. and Worms style gameplay mixed with... golf? All I need right now is some pun in game name!
