100 ants are collecting food and sorting them by color. Only need a idea for a gameplay.

I was trying something with an ‘anthill’: ants are sorting their food by color. http://webjoch.nl/anthill. It gave a nice result so I was thinking for a gameplay with evolution. I figured something out and I made it but I’ve not finish it because it was bad. You can see here the result but I won’t publish it to ludum dare, next time better!
