"I always try my best"

Just needed somewhere to dump this pic. Getting font ready for LD40 cause I really spaced out on text the last couple jams.
I'll be using free-as-in-speech libraries and tools again.
I've only got a few hours to fix all this shit so if something's wrong please let me know:

The code is all AGPLv3 and I'll be updating it through the week.
There is a rule somewhere that you have to declare your base code to avoid people writing the entire game before the compo starts.
Every LD I feel like I'm in a grey zone because I like to work on the base code right up until compo starts.
Reasons I maybe shouldn't do this:
Reasons I do it anyway:

I had to drive a lot today and I just can't come up with ideas that are both good, fun, and jam-friendly.

I'm having a lot of fun with this one, but I haven't really done any level design. I spent pretty much all day today setting up a little tiled world and making the bomb weapon 'interesting'.
This is following on the theme from my other game, "Removal of Insidious Box", where your only weapon was grenades you could lob.
In this game, left-clicking shoots a bomb straight forward. You can then right-click to park it in mid-air. The bombs will roll along the walls, floor, and ceiling, and if you right-click after it's rolled, then it will pop off the surface.

PoV! Please add WebMs! Please please please... I ran my MKV through gfycat and it's still over 4 MB. Quit subjecting us to GIF

I'm done messing with it. I wanted to get in before the compo and since I have to work tomorrow, the jam doesn't give me much more time.

Tools: Anything FOSS. Typically Tiled, GIMP, Inkscape, and Blender have served me well.
Languages: C++ and Lua are my go-tos. Next jam might be Rust though!
Libs / APIs: Anything FOSS. Sqlite, SDL2, OpenGL ES2, IQM almost always show up.
I'm also looking into a way to receive analytics data from the game. If I have analytics / telemetry they'll be opt-in because I respect your privacy!
I hate doing art!

Now I need to publish all this on Gitlab... And get the sound going.
I'm still adding sound. I want to try doing some synthesis live during the game, but I need to set up stb_vorbis or something to fall back on.

None of the art assets are included, and of course I'll be making the final art during the 48 hours as the rules require.
