Incredibly Grateful

This was our team's first jam ever, and these results blew our expectations away! Huge thank you to everyone who played our game, and to everyone who made a game that we got to play- The huge volume of positive feedback and constructive criticism that I saw on our page and many others has been the highlight of quarantine

I'm really excited to keep making games, and I can't wait for October!

Antichamber Vibes

Played around with a few prototypes for a game"loop" (heh) and finally settled on something I think will be fun to explore. Some rescaling and teleporting tricks to make it seem like the player is infinitely going through the same few rooms and will need to figure out how to escape.

Reminds me a lot of the Antichamber stairs, and I've always loved the idea of playing around with something like that.

Holy crap, I'm really glad I tried playing around with a somewhat experimental idea :) Huge thanks to everyone who played my game! This really feels like good encouragement to keep exploring the idea-

So Excited!

I forgot LD48 was this weekend until I got a half-hour calendar alert just now. Whoops! I had been anticipating a boring weekend, but now I get to spend the next few days doing one of my favorite things with a great community! Good luck with your ideas everyone

Disaster Dig

My 3rd LudumDare all wrapped up and ready to start playing some other peoples' games!

Submission

HTML5 Playable

FinalPlaySMALL_trimmed.gif

I wanted to play around with procedural generation and crafting, and wound up going for something quite similar to the old Flash game Motherload. I'm guessing there will be a fair number of submissions like this :)

This community is wholesome as heck

Thanks to everyone for reminding me why I enjoy participating in these jams so much. Love all of these wonderful wrap-up posts after a month of enjoying each other's hard work and congrats to everyone who improved any of their game creation skills by participating :)

No Title No Nothin

Nothing so far. No game ideas, no title, no genres, or styles-

But I absolutely cannot wait to hop into another LudumDare

Good luck and I hope everyone learns some useful new skills!

My first top 10 in a category!

Top 10 for Theme and Top 50 for Fun!!

I'm honored and so excited that people enjoyed our entry, thank you so much to folks who played/rated! I was worried I wasn't going to be able to do LD51, and I'm so glad I decided to set aside time for it. Congrats to everyone who made something they're proud of or grew their game making skills over the last few weeks!

Reap What You Sow

Super happy with how our game turned out this year, and always love being able to squeeze a pun into the title. Didn't have as much time to balance as I would have liked, but overall I think it's enjoyable to play and that's all I really want in the end!
