I am in!  Exam schedule worked out this year with ludum dare.  I will be using pygame with python 2.7 and sfxr.  As an added challenge to myself, whatever the category is my sub-theme and title must have the word Christmas and the theme in it.  Ie. “Alone” should be the game “Christmas Alone”  or “Time Travel” should be “Time Travel Christmas”.  Wish me luck!

I decided I would take the path of simply using SDL.  This was a bad choice, I miss hardware acceleration
