This will be my first Ludum Dare. I have some experience programming games, but never anything complete, and never in such a limited time.

The tools I will be using are :

Programming:   Lua  with  the LOVE api

Graphics:  Paint, Inkscape, Gimp, Blender

Sound: Sfxr, FruityLoops (for music), Audacity

So I’ve put together this little arcade throwback. When I started I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, and though there is more I could have done with more time, I think this game is pretty fun! It certainly is a challenge. I’ve learned a lot and hope to participate in future dares.

So here it is! Antimatter!

I will be at it again this LD. I had a great time with 31 and I got some fantastic feedback from the community, I hope to put forth an even better effort this time!

I’ll be using lua with love2d, sublime editor to code, zerobrane to debug. I’ll be starting from a love2d template I crafted specifically for LD. Audio will be BFXR and Anvil studio. Graphics will be made with gimp, paint.net and Blender.

My excitement cannot be overstated! Happy dare everybody!
