Lumberjack vs. Ancient Druid’s Cybertree Released

screen_3

The epic saga of ambiguously hipsterish lumberjack protecting humanity from the ominous threat of space druids or something, while one-handedly swinging his trusty axe and delivering cringeworthy wood-related puns one after another, is finished! And so am I. Good thing I still have 3 hours of sleep before going to work! Anyway, point is – you can play it now! Yay!

Play here. Play. Play now!

So… yep. Enjoy and don’t hesitate to give us your feedback!

I’ll probably write some more detailed post mortem tomorrow, when I stop seeing in slow-motion.

Lumberjack vs. Ancient Android’s Cybertree

In our eternal struggle to bring our games to all people in need of entertainment, regardless of time and location, we’re happy to announce that Lumberjack vs. Ancient Druid’s Cybertree now officially joins the “elite” club of games fully playable on Android!

So fire up your device with totally-the-best-operating-system-out-there and download APK here.

To celebrate this breakthrough event, we’ve also sneaked some bug fixes in Windows/WebGL version:
– Some cybertree minions were spawned too low on the screen and could not be interacted with in that playthrough, while still launching bombs at you. Oops.
– Blocked selfie usage after Player is dead. Actually, I only fixed the part where you could use it with Game Over screen already visible, kinda breaking the game. Part where you get resurrected while in dying animation if you take selfie was kept as it is. It was just too funny to fix, so let’s say it’s not a bug – it’s a feature. Thanks for reporting, Garris!
– Fixed critical issue, where on tutorial screen “immortality” was misspelled as “immortaility”. That artist let it pass I can understand, but I hold myself to higher standards than this!

Lumberjack vs Game Jolt’s Cybertree

lumberjack_achievement

“Slightly” late to the party, but post-jam Lumberjack vs Ancient Druid’s Cybertree just got released on Game Jolt.

This new version contains some minor balance tweaks when compared to vanilla LD and 10 brand new Game Jolt achievements to unlock for some extra challenge (and great excuse to introduce more incredibly lame puns).

In addition to WebGL, Win standalone and Android, included now are also Linux and MacOS builds.

Play it here.

Tribes of the Turtleland

Tribes of the Turtleland checking in!

mainmenu.jpg

During our initial brainstorm almost every single idea was variation of "small planet seen from the side with a guy running around it and doing stuff". Then magic happened, and suddenly we're doing giant space turtle flying through the void with two hostile tribes on its shell fighting for personal space. Huh.

Our artist is currently preparing environments, with basic WIP placeholders already put in.

For now we're planning few different victory conditions, from taking over opposite tribes' places of cult to pushing all of them off the shell. Just, you know, your typical genocidal day in the fairyland. Thankfully, you can settle on "peace and prosperity" victory, by breeding more people than... No, wait, that's not any better. Ummm.

So yeah, see you at the deadline!

Tribes of the Turtleland WebGL

In the everlasting struggle to provide our Players with convenient ways to enjoy Tribes of the Turtleland and/or forcing them to enjoy it, we ported the game to WebGL.

You can now play right in the browser, without the ovewhelming pain of downloading (gasp) and unpacking (gasps intensify), saving you another 15 seconds of your life which you can spend productively watching cat videos on Youtube.

Play Tribes of the Turtleland in your browser here.
