With my highest rated category falling in the top ~9.7%, and my worst in the top ~33.1% I'm quite happy with the results. It was quite fun participating in my first game jam, and for the time I had free to work on it I came away feeling satisfied and excited to continue work independent of jams as well as a feeling of anticipation for the next Ludum Dare!

Thanks to everyone who played my game and left feedback!

Space Cargo

Just wrapped up with submitting my entry for LD 42 (My second time participating in Ludum Dare), as well as fixing any of the glaring bugs that I noticed.

The game is a simple space exploration game in which you buy and sell cargo between planets. When you run out of fuel, the game ends and you are scored based on the amount of credits you managed to make during your journey through space. If the game sounds enjoyable, please check it out!

I'm pretty happy with what I was able to get done working on it in my free time. Of course, just like the last jam I wish I had more free time to spend on features that didn't get implemented. Maybe I'll continue expanding on it after the jam..

I was able to learn some new things, and try out new ideas which is always great. I was pretty happy to be able to get the world wrapping to work correctly as easily as I did, but it was disappointing to not work on name generation for the planets, being able to check planets to see if they've been previously visited among a hundred other ideas floating around in my head.
