Completed my list - time for a new one.
This is the first LD where I have published an android version. I would really like to play and rate as many android submissions as possible. Send me your links.
Watch my little demo which was captured from my android device. Sound is a bit rubbish but you get the jist.

Links to android games please. I will get some time to sit in front of a screen soon. In the meantime I am mobile only.

Despite being at a big horse show working 12 hour shifts I will claw out some time. Late nights and early mornings for the win. Expect something minimal at best. Fingers crossed the theme gives me a workable idea in the first 5 minutes. I reckon I have a solid 8 hours free before submissions are due. Plenty of time! Gulp
Trying not to commit to ideas as they are always wasted when the Theme is picked. It's hard as I am excited so I tried out an idea for modular character design instead. At least it is something generic and met the urge to get busy. See you on the other side.

I was so looking forward to this Jam. I had never been in such good shape to make the most of it. Usually I have some work on that takes away precious hours or means I cant take part at all. This time with lock down I was both feet in and no distractions. Many things contributed to not finishing and I have done the required reflection to understand what had happened. The most brutal part of not finishing is that it wrecks the play and rate experience. In many ways it renders it null and void. So I decided to channel my energies into getting my first game onto the play store. I have got it up as an Alpha ready for it to be put through its paces. This game started as my warm up for Ludum Dare 45, unfortunately a late work offer took me out of the running for that jam but I have carried on working on Flailing Hips ever since.

Flailing Hips is a Ragdoll combat game on android. Someone said its a Ragdoll Soul Calibur love child and I guess that just about covers it.
If you fancy helping a LD Brother out then I would love to add you to the Alpha testers. Email me your google play store email to flailinghips@amancalledarron.com
Don't do it at the expense of playing and rating, but if you are in need of ratings let me know and I will play your game. Just promise not to look at my entry!
Peace to you all and I really look forward to October.
I had a pretty sporadic Ludum, lots of family visits (all lovely) and my Daughters Birthday to celebrate (She loved it) so I got nowhere near the time I usually have. After the dissapointment of an Unfinished game last time I was determined to get something done. So a few bugs aside including an inevitable guarenteed death as soon as or before you start (sorry) I am really happy with what I managed to get done.
So I ported an Android version to celebrate. Play the web version by all means but they are identical

Get used to images like this one. They happen a lot.
RUN no wait HIDE
Enjoy and I will try and play anything made by those who leave comments

I have got my rating target yay for me. I really want to play your Web games and get you up to 20. Especially interested in android entries. Hit me up with your submissions in the comments.
Play mine if you fancy it https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/a-night-around-the-fire
I have been very humbled to see people play and like A Night Around The Fire. It has made up for the intensity of the weekend for sure. The twitch plays have been really interesting but this dude made a whole video on it and I loved watching him work it out. Have a view and sub to this guy. I love his patter

Have a play if you fancy it https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/a-night-around-the-fire
So I have a day off and I intend to get through as many games as possible. Link me up people! Preferably Web based but I will play windows builds too.

If you fancy trying out mine that would be grand. Can anyone get further than my current best?

Play this one you wont regret the 5 mins it takes https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/circle-golf
I am looking forward to sharing the Post Jam I am working on. It is nice to add in the features I ran out of time for and the suggestions from you guys too. Its been a lot of fun to shake it up.

In the meantime I would love it if you played the Jam version. I will rate all games that are made by folk who leave comments. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/a-night-around-the-fire
It's so nearly done. Just a few more bugs to wrangle. I will share it before results day if it kills me.
I am happy with how it is starting to look.

It's a long night for this kid!
Leave a comment on my game page and I will let you know when it's ready. Play and rate the Jam entry if you fancy seeing it as was but I have plenty of ratings so maybe head to the danger zone and help get them over the finish line.
This is what the jam entry looks like.

A Night Around The Fire Post Jam version is ready to play. I have never worked so hard in all my life. I have loved every moment of making it and look forward to trying to fund it's real potential being realised. I would love to hear what you think.

Web version a bit stripped back. Windows build is the best version I have made.
Enjoy and good luck with your score. This has easily been the best LD I have taken part in. Loads of great games and Hamsters. Thanks y'all.

My best ratings so far. Moving in the right direction.

More important than the scores was this amaizing community, the feedback and ability to watch people play my entry fed into the post jam which I have really focused on these past few weeks. If you are not ready for Ludum to be over then any feedback on what has changed in A Night Around The Fire will be very useful to me. I am happy to return the favour on any other Post Jam builds, just hit me up with links.
