Joining LD 24! (for the first time)
Hi guys,
it’s me atla. I’ll be joining ludum dare for the first time. I’ll try to make it in time for the compo, but i’m not fully sure if i can accomplish it, as it’s my first LD. I’ll becoding from home (that is in germany/Heidelberg) and probably start around 3-4 am (germany time) early saturday morning and will probably stream it from time to time (here: http://www.twitch.tv/insanebrood). I can’t spend the whole weekend on it (saturday night is already greyed out) but i try to push as many hours as possible.
As to my game-coding experience. I worked on many small games in the past but never really commercially. Here’s a list of really old projects: http://leihwelt.de/projects.htm and http://www.leihwelt.de/ntrs/. I worked a lot with C/C++ and directly OpenGL code and build most of that stuff from scratch. I also did some Android stuff, see here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.leihwelt.android.droidkobanpro. But since lately i try to learn Unity and i hope i already learned enough to build the game with it in 48h – let’s see!
There are quite some cool themes this time around and i hope one of my favorite makes it! 
As for the tools i use they probably will be: Unity 3D, Blender, The Gimp! and well for sound i am still missing a tool. But i’ll decide upon one before starting!
