Hello fellow people,

after thinking about joining or not I finally decided for it and will use my thing of choice: pico-8; which will definitely be interesting because I don't know what's going to happen. Fun!

What I have so far... first time programming a game with all its things... definitely learning a lot, trying to not get stuck too. Artwork is also somewhat done, things like animation still need to be done, I don't know if I can do that on time but we'll see. here's a screenshot!

I think I'm done.

It's okay for doing a game completely for the first time, and especially in a time frame of 48 hours.

It was more fun than I first expected it to be, I definitely going to take part in another LD compo in the future. Also: I've learned a lot. :smile_cat:

It was honestly an roller-coaster of emotions, and tested my patience a lot of times.

So... here's an okay-ish game, without any sounds because decided to not frustrate me anymore! Also... I have to learn a lot about pixel art... I like to draw a lot in general, but making sprites while being limited to a specific size is something else.

But I'm proud of myself for finishing something though I've been frustrated so often.
