Hi guys, first Ludum Dare for me. Let’s do this!

About time for my second attempt at ludum dare. Probably aiming for the jam depending on how i like the theme.
Tools:
Java
Eclipse
Paint.NET
Good luck everyone!
So, been working on my idea for a bit now. The plan is an arena shooter where time stops every 10 seconds to allow you to pick up weapons and power-ups.
Very simple stuff but i would like to get this done in time rather than doing something super complicated that i give up on after 30 minutes. But we shall se what crazy things i can add if i have some extra time.
Let the coding begin!
Even though my game is very humble in it’s design, it’s playable and i’m still very proud for finishing it
I had tons of fun, the entire weekend was an absolute blast!
I will play as many of your games as i can tomorrow. But now for catching up on that lost sleep…
Here is the link. Enjoy! http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-27/?action=preview&uid=22618
Third time for me. My first attempt went… horribly, and the second was a VERY simple arena shooter.
Thought i would step things up a bit by using OpenGL this time around. Might be able to do some cool things but being to ambitious has screwed me over before so it’s probably just going to be moving boxes, circles and triangles like usual
Language: Java
IDE: Eclipse
Library: OpenGL
Graphics(hah!): Paint.NET
So as the title suggest you can now check out my jam entry
I was kind of hoping i would be able to enter the 48 hour compo this time, but i’m still happy with the result + I find myself making way less silly mistakes that takes ages to debug (yay i’m improving!). Anyways you can download my game here
