Hi there! In canary islands we gather every Ludum Dare in the Island Jam event. We keep the same rules and theme from ludum dare, but we sign up without teams, and then they are made randomly. This event try to engage new people, so there is a lot of people starting on the gamedev area, as my self. The good part is that we have mentors that help the teams with their games.

I have a team with one novice artist, two novice programmers (one of them is me!), one musician and one more guy who had never programmamed or use unity. Anyway, we manage to finish a "game", combining baseball and fishing.
