Going to be my first Ludum Dare and my third jam. I'm a programmer, but I can still do some art. Looking forward to having a fun piece at the end of this that I can show to my friends. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Peace out from Canada
Who likes keeping your monsters alive?
Pretty good for 25 hours so far. Have most of the base game done, can spend the rest of the time balancing and making more monsters.

I did alright for a lone programmer on her second (first finished) Ludum Dare, and third completed jam
It's a bit past a day now and for my solo tamagotchi-type evolving game I've gotten: creatures which evolve egg>baby>adolescent>adult>egg when over fed, support for multiple types of evos, health and waste system, buyable food with coins, food inventory, nested menus with scrolling, 1 minigame (want 3, we'll see), and saving/loading, All with only 3 buttons/4 colours!!
First minigame is a keep'em-up ala game and watch :3 ^w^
Next wants: 2-3 minigames total, more art for creature options (rn 1 egg, 3 baby, 4 adolescent, 1 adult are made), buyable and swappable/customizable furniture instead of fixed pieces, and maybe music/sound effects!
Finished my 3 button 4 colour critter raiser with 2 hours to spare, and realised a bad bug last minute I had to fix, just like usual XD Still got it done in time though! Hope people like it :gift_heart: 2nd completed Ludum Dare, 5th completed jam total ^w^ Includes 19 total forms (including evos), 10 furniture pieces, and 2 minigames!
