Disk Overdrive

Screen Shot 2017-12-05 at 01.21.59.png

As a malfunctioning robot, your objective is to survive a killer ball while trying to disrupt your opponents. Use your robot skills acquired by picking up random drives that spawns at the map.

But be aware! Since you are a malfunctioning robot, these powers are a little too much for you to handle and you will suffer some drawbacks for using them.

Modes:

Player vs AI:

Play against another robot that is controlled by another robot. Can it get any crazier than that?

Player vs Player:

Test which robot is the best at being the worst with your friend.

Controls

Player1

  • Arrow keys/WASD: Movement
  • Z: Use Drive 0
  • X: Use Drive 1
  • Enter/Space: Pause game

Player2:

  • IJKL: Movement
  • B: Use Drive 0
  • N: Use Drive 1
  • Enter/Space: Pause game

Powerups:

  • Dash: Use your powerful rocket to go further and beyond, and no one will be able to stop you. But...try not to hit the wall, ok? It's hard to clean up the stage.
  • Intangible: You manipulate your skin to a degree where nothing will be able to even touch you! This uses too much power so be ready to overcome some overloads.
  • Freeze: Concentrate a deep cold to freeze every enemy at the arena. Since this cold has to come from somewhere, and that somewhere is you, you will be frozen for a while before activating it.

Tiimus: find your teammates

Hi everyone, hope you are doing great!

We at Bendev always struggled to find missing roles for our game projects (mostly for Ludum Dares) like an artist or a musician. Since we are a group of 3 developers, every time we try our best to fulfill these roles by ourselves to deliver some of our ideas, there is a huge limitation in aspects we would like to be better.

Some time ago, we thought how cool would be if we had some place where we could find people interested in making games with those skills, or maybe just someone willing to try to fill one of those roles. With that in mind, we ended up idealizing Tiimus, a place where people with different skills could connect and make awesome games together.

After a lot of work, we are more than happy to deliver to you the first (very alpha) version of Tiimus.

Tiimus is a platform where you can look for projects that are in need of some skills or create a project yourself, selecting skills you are looking for. You can ask to join a project, or invite a user to your project. We let the user know that you are interested in working with him and he can accept your invite so you can start working together.

Tiimus is in its first version, so at the moment it has the minimum experience to connect people. We have plenty more features and improvements to deliver very soon and we hope that with your feedback we can make it even better.

Tiimus is 100% free and open source. You can find its code here and here we would be more than happy to accept your help.
