Ludum Dare 47

The Infinite Parable Is Complete!!

Our teams first Ludum Dare and it was a blast! It was really great to look at the diversity in games, it really pushed ours to be the best it could be. screenshot2.png Anyway, our game is an escape room where everything is reset every 60 seconds. Find the code to escape via the elevator and don't be driven too insane by the overseer. screenshot3.png Ludum Page -> https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/the-infinite-parable

Looking forward to the next one :)

Walkthrough for The Infinite Parable is up!

We received some feedback that some of the puzzles are a bit too difficult. We are planning on making the clues slightly more obvious but in the meantime here is a walkthrough of the game -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y4vGmYtqjI

Time stamps are included in description if it is a specific puzzle that you are stuck on.

Finally, we want to say a big thank you to everyone that has played so far, if you haven't yet and you like escape rooms or the Stanley Parable this 5 to 10 minute game could be right up your street!

Fixed Bugs and made game a bit easier!

We fixed a couple of bugs and made finding the solutions to two of the puzzles slightly easier, after feedback.

The reviews are in!

It's been amazing to receive such positive feedback on what was our first Ludum Dare entry (and only third game jam ever)! If you haven't yet checked out The Infinite Parable maybe these reviews will convince you to:

The Infinite Parable Continues!

Hey everyone!

It's been amazing to see the reception to our first Ludum Dare game jam game! We have had a lot of fun watching several streamers/youtubers playing our game (this includes laughing at people calling a groundhog a beaver smh).

We have plans to take the game further, with one of our University modules being Audio Programming we have been able to continue the development of the game as part of our coursework! The deadline for the module is the start of January so we would plan for release of the game at the end of the month to allow time for polish and bug fixes. The game will be free on itch, with hopefully 1 - 2 hours worth of rooms to escape from, but we may add a "donate if you'd like" button in case anyone really enjoys it.

If (you haven't played the game yet)

you can do so here

else if (you have played it)

is there anything else we can add to the game to improve it further (aside from a pause menu)?
