Hmmmm
Some ahem interesting themes this year.
Some ahem interesting themes this year.
This was our first game jam ever, and it was an amazing experience.

Please, check out our game and let us know what do you think about it following this link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/loopllet-hell
- First of all, THANK YOU to everybody who played and rated our game, what a blast! And for those who have yet to play it, what are you waiting for?
Second, we are taking notes on the feedback and we definetly agree with it. Most of the "choices" that we made had to compromise the overall quality if we wanted to reach the deadline.
Third, that being said, we crunched like crazy, we had to deal with different time zones (8 hours), it was our first game jam, some of us had to work on monday or study etc.
Still, we are really proud of it and we would like everyone to give it a try
Now, we will apply all this boost of energy into our actual indie game project that we are trying to develop, but more on that later :v

After the overwhelming reception of our game, we listened to your feedback!
We are happy to announce that we have published a build of the game for WebGL so everyone can enjoy it and that is just RAD. You can check it out by following this link
Couple of notes to considerate: - You wont be able to exit the game via the pause menu since this game was never intended to be on a browser. - For the full experience, we still recommend the download version, since high scores will not be persistent between sessions.
We are very thankfull of the reception we've got, you guys are awesome! As allways, let us know what you think of it, and most importantly, have fun!

Time flies while having fun, and this Ludum Dare is no exception.
We are blown away by the sheer ammount of quality on #LD47. Maybe at some point during the weekend we will stream to showcase some games from the event and also promote our game live, so we can give feedback to each other on the spot! Stay tunned for more info on that.
How is your ratings going? We are trying our best to rate them all, but there are too many good ones that hook you that is taking us our sweet time, you guys totally crushed it.
Here is a little list of my favourites so far that I think you should check:
Also please try our very own LOOPLLET HELL, because I heard the guys behind it are totally rad and proud of their little imperfect yet totally fun game. I heard time definetly flies on that one.

We had to go deeper and we went the extra mile!

Of course, some shameless self promotion is at hand. Please play OVERDRILLED if you have'nt already.
cheers!

Hello people!
First of all, the reception of the game has been wonderful and unexpected. We knew we had something good cooking, but this is our second Ludum Dare entry ever and we are overwhelmed with the positivity. In the name of the whole team, thank you so much guys!
We heared your feedback, and here we are with a patch for OVERDRILLED! Let's dig in: - Adjusted the difficulty of the game so it can be completed. - End game screen now shows the reason of your defeat. - UI bars have been changed to improve readability. - Various SFX, VFX and animation adjustments.
If you played it before, please consider playing it again, and if you haven't played it yet, what are you waiting for?

First of all, thank you to everyone who played our game. This was our second and best entry so far. We are really happy with the results and kinda overwhelmed to be honest!

To make it in the top 10% overall makes us really happy, and me, personally, having worked in the graphics, that 25th position feels so good.
We are not sure if we are gonna continue to develop a full version of OVERDRILLED, and that is because we are quite busy with other personal projects. I'm working with @everedx and @gelthan on a metroidvania called Stranded. You can learn more about it on our twitter accounts, like mine: https://twitter.com/oscarodfer
Here is a little preview of what to expect there:

Thanks again! (flies out)
