This is my first time entering in a Ludum Dare contest. Sadly I have a few of those annoying ‘real life’ things to do during the contest so I won’t be able to spend as much time as I’d like on it. I’ll still get a completed game though! Wish me luck.

Premise of the game: A few thousand years in the future the power of time travel has been harnessed. humans are now capable of studying evolution of species over vast time periods. Top scientists have created what is known as the Beagle Project to do just that.

Mission: Your part in the Beagle Project is to collect DNA from several specimen from different time periods. You must track the evolution chains of the specimen you find.

No title and no original sprites yet but we have basic functionality! The idea is a scrolling ‘run and jump’ kind of game.
