I’m in for the first time !

Hi everybody,

Here are the tools I will use for LD27 :

  • Programming Language : Java
  • IDE : Eclipse
  • Librairy : Slick2D
  • Graphics : Photofiltre
  • Music & Sound : Famitracker & sfxr
  • Maps : Tiled Map Editor

I hope I will finish my game within the 48 hours !

Cool, seems like you have a good setup there. If you aren’t familiar with your tools have a good play with them this week, you don’t want any surprises in the compo. Good Luck.

Hello everybody,

Here is my entry for 48h Compo of this 27th Ludum Dare ! I hope you’ll enjoy it !

I wouldn’t have said that before but I’m really proud of what I’ve done in so little time. Sincerely, I thought I would never find an idea or even finish my game within the 48 hours.

Of course, many things could have been different with more time like graphics which are very simple (I know that I could do better) and my music loop which is very short. I’m very impressed by the Slick2D library (I discovered it a few weeks before LD27) and I think that I will use it again for my next participation.

I found this first participation was a good experience and I enjoyed those thrilling 48 hours !
