Hey there! We originally submitted Office Dating Simulator 2020 back in October for Ludum Dare 47, and were so surprised to recieve 4th place in 'Humor' and a top 100 score in 'Fun'. After submitting our initial version of the game and recieving so much nice feedback, we knew we wanted to spend a bit more time with it. There were some extra ideas we had in mind, and we really wanted to polish the game's veneer to the level of eye-blinding shine we knew it deserved. So without further ado, we've revamped and re-released Office Dating Sim with a ton of brand new additions!
To make a long story short, we've worked with a fantastic group of voice actors to bring full voice-acting to the game, animated all of the game's character portraits, added a bunch of new art and sound assets, and polished up the game a ton overall! This new version, dubbed "Gold Edition," is up on itch.io right now to download. We'd love it if you checked it out and let us know what you think - we're really happy with it overall. We've also posted full patch notes detailing everything that's gone into the new edition!

We're taking the jam's theme literally this time. We've never made a procedurally generated game before, nor a game with any horror aspects to it, so we're really excited to see what we're able to create. Hope the jam is going well for everyone!

Mine ever deeper into the procedurally-generated fungal caverns, discovering new biomes and managing your ever-depleting light. And whatever you do, don’t let it catch you.
This was our third LD jam, and we had a blast making this game! We've never made a horror game before, nor a procedurally generated game, so this was a trial by fire (in a good way). We decided to take this LD's theme entry literally by having the player dig deeper and deeper in order to escape the grasp of a horrifying beast. We hope you enjoy the game if you check it out!
