Ludum Dare 45

Getting ready for Ludum Dare 45 (I'm in!)

This will be my first time participating in this jam. Gotta say I'm pretty hyped! I think I can safely say the same goes for my team!

Tool Stack (speaking for myself)

  • Unity game engine
  • GraphicsGale or Asprite for pixel art
  • Blender or similar tool for 3D assets/animation
  • Visual Studio Code with Neovim integration for text editing
  • SunVox or LSDJ in SameBoy emulator for music
  • Audacity or bfxr for SFX

Ludum Dare 45 is over!

The jam is over and we were, unfortunately, unable to finish by the deadline. My team & I signed on to this shindig for the sake of making cool stuff & learning while doing it, so no worries, honestly. I'll personally be working to finish the game post-jam & I consider myself fortunate to have been able to work with a group of such talented & determined people. As "informal project lead", I can't help but feel I've let them down a bit (even after working almost all waking hours this weekend), but this process was an absolute hoot. Ups and downs were seen, for sure, but I feel we came out net-positive by a significant margin.

Bringing us together for this jam is one of the better decisions I've made in a while & wouldn't take it back for the world. Maybe it's just post-jam delirium, but that's how I feel. Thank you, Donald, Kushal, & Corfid. It's been excellent.
