My first Jam, In over my head?

I'm very recent to game development in general. I have only been interested for about a year and finally started putting in some work about 3 months ago to learning how to develop games. I learned of Ludum Dare at the same time and decided I would participate. I expect I wont get a great score but decided to push myself hard towards this goal. I hope that I can at least submit a game that people can play. I started developing in unity and have since been working mostly in Unreal engine. I am trying to build my experience with blueprints so I can throw a prototype together quickly. Ill take any advice people have for me and am willing to be on a team for the jam. Just know I am far from a developer yet but understand the basics and have played a ton of games. I will be using unreal, blender, gimp and sfxr. Wish me luck!

So far so good, making an FPS Board Game!

I have worked so far to get a basic prototype and some models in the game, trying to focus on what I know. I ended up wanting to build an FPS and decided the incompatible pairing could be a Board Game.

This is what it looks like currently, I also have a basic enemy AI that I am going to fiddle with now and get a little more exciting to play against. Also need to model the enemies and give them some motion. Lets see how far I get.

Robot VS. You

I worked hard all weekend to produce this game and am very happy with the results. I had hoped to be able to provide a HTML5 game to play on Itch.io but have not been able to get my code to work well in HTML5. I hope you can play my windows version as it works the best.

The game is mostly an FPS with the rough aesthetic of being a board game. I did work mainly on the visuals and the post effects as it is what I know how to do.
