last ld i was in i joined 5 hours after it started dont know when theme slaughter or what ever its called happens

cant wait only 3 days and really nice that its a weekend also play against yourself is my favourite theme i really hope we get it

control the world not the player is just going to be half the games from keep it alive since half of those were moveing the world and not the player they were fun and cool but i really dont want to repeat a theme bassically

i've never made a game with some one else, and feel like that would be a good experience. I use unity, and can doo pixel art.

As im sure you know theres been alot of bots spamming random things either random articles that have nothing to do with ludum dare or products. I really feel like we should have these bots be banned share your opinion I personally just find it really annoying.

Were all in why we be here otherwise we get it.

I just think its dumb that ever feels the need to span im in we know if your on the site your most likely doing ld. The im in post clog up real post asking for teams or interesting topics. I get its just for fun but still its really annoying most of them art ignored anyways.

Skipped out on ld48 just because I hated that theme but this year from the themes ive seen popular its going to be good on alt since school

Its become more and more clear everyday that the devs neglect the forums. Bots ads ext get posted and dont even get removed. I personally use the ld forums a lot during the summer especially last year to talk about game dev and meet cool people. But each year it feels that it gets more clogged with spam something should be done before there unusable. I posted about this a year ago and so many agree yet there is never any word from the devs, feel free to share you thoughts.

The spam last year was maybe about 20 posts in total. This is ridiculous if your the dev please just do something I used to be able to have great conversations with awesome people on the forum, however now it's unusable.

If your going to let the forums wrought and become just scam havens during off seasons whats the point. Its a disgrace that Ld has sponsors then does nothing about the massive issue of these spam accounts. Its one of the first things a possible sponsor would see. If its too much of a trouble to moderate just pull the plug until a jam starts. Having to create a discord account is not a solution to talk about Ld or game dev.

Cant way to get back into Ld took a break from game jams to work on for traditional cs going to be great event!
