Ok, I fixed some major bugs for my entry: Arc. For those who have already played it, thank you for the nice comments. For those who haven’t played it, Check it out!

Here are some of my favorite comments:

Arc is a Simple, Classic, ARCade Game (see what I did there). Escape from your Arc before it closes on you! Don’t crash into another Arc though. Zoom to another Arc for score, and collect Gold for extra score. Get the Power Ups, but watch out for the Power Downs. The Power Ups and Power Downs are filled circles but with each one a different color. Which one is which you ask? Figure it out yourself. c:

Got the Multiplayer Survival Mode (With Sudden Death) for my entry: Arc. Just got one more mode left on work on and then I’ll post a link to the Post Compo version on the entry.

In this mode the arc you are currently in slowly closes and when you leave it, it just stays the same it doesn’t close. So last man standing wins. And eventually there’s Sudden Death! (Shown above) Don’t touch the red! c:

I know 8 seems like an odd number, but it’s not, it’s even (Heheh). I could only find 8 entries that I thought were really good. I know that there are still great entries out there but I just haven’t played them all, wish I did. I’ve only rated 50 games, so these are just my favorite 8 of the 50.

Here are my Results for my entry, Arc.

Lots of votes doesn’t always mean Awesome Ratings. I got 203 votes, which makes me really happy! Thank you guys! You guys rock. 😉

I was kind of disappointed with my results but that’s okay. The more votes, the more real your results are. You will have a better evaluation with 800 votes than 40 votes, see what I’m saying? So yes my results aren’t bad, but I just expected more. I’m a perfectionist, so I’ll always be wanting a little more. This was my 8th Ludum Dare and I just expected better results. But overall, I’m pretty happy with the Audio and Innovation. Again, thank you all who checked out my game. The Ludum Dare Community is awesome, I love it! Those who made a game, or even just attempted to make a game, you rock! c:

Made some Major changes to my Ludum Dare-Inspired Game, Arc, this weekend. Probably got more done this weekend than the LD 34 Weekend itself!

Bigger Game Window, New Colors, No More Shadows (keeping it simple), New Power Ups/Power Downs– Basically everything just looks much, much better! Be sure to check it out!

I still want to change the Game Over Screens, Add Progression throughout Classic Mode so it gets harder as you go on, add More/New Music, Leaderboards, and I actually want to add a whole new mode to the game. I will constantly be updating it, so stay tuned.

And this is probably the most fun I’ve ever had working on a game, so I’m very excited. c:
