ran into a last minute web game bug where keyboard keys are working fine locally but aren't recognized on itch.io. :scream:

if someone has the same problem: injecting <script>window.onclick = function () { window.focus(); }</script> into the index.html worked for me :relieved:

Shoutout to my favourite games so far

A shout out to my favourite entries so far. To focus my ratings a bit I played only Compo games. I hope I can play a few more, barely scratched 10% of the entries :fearful: .

Most polished: Hexoban

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/hexoban by @plasmapuffs Insanely polished. Has Game Feel. I am studying the source code to learn.

Most memorable / WTF experience: Attack on the Piper

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/attack-on-the-piper by @kiv Wild and strange. I can only imagine to be in the creator's head. Want to see more games of this kind.

Most retro feel: Dreadzone

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/dreadzone by @dzejpi Gives back the warm feeling of Quake or Doom. Very enjoyable.

Most interesting mechanic: Reverse Packman

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/reverse-pacman by @euske Elegant play on a classic game by subverting the roles in an unexpected way.
