Tetris is less stable with slimes

This is probably the most complete game-jam product I've created and I couldn't be happier. I must thank my teammate @mscarrotcake for her excellent art and code. I wish I can help her more, maybe I will pick up Godot some time after I can create something more that Asteroids in Unity.
The whole brainstorm started from Tricky Towers, where you build towers with physics applied using Tetris pieces, which is the first image that comes up from searching "unstable" in my unreliable brain database. But, the similarities stop at the word "Tetris", as I think what makes Tricky Towers fun in the first place is that we used to think Tetris structures are stable, so stable we can only regret our mistakes or admire how beautiful a 4x9 is (until you realize that 1x4 will never come). What if built structures are still vulnerable? What if we open up some holes? With Tetris being a traditional D-pad game, I can easily add mouse as a second control, that "if you don't click on the blocks, they will blow up".
The idea plus core set of rules took me less than 30 minutes. But oh boy you know iteration, balancing, testing, balancing and testing takes up to the very last minute. Luckily we have came to the theme of giggling and petting, that brought both me and Carrotcake some lolz.
The first thing I've learnt from this, but not sure if it's learnt or a decision, is managing the scope of project. This is the first time I am teaming up with Carrotcake only, without other teammates to support on code and art. That means if we want to have a more polished game, we can only focus on something very accomplishable, which is another reason why we choose to modify an existing game structure. But, have we tried our best yet? Is it always better to finish something so small you know you can finish, rather than diving into the completely-unknown? Even in environments like game jams where failing is totally fine? I don't have a definite answer.
The second thing I've learnt is that I suck at Tetris. True story, don't blame the slimes.

It's web playable! Give it a try ๐
You know it's Tetris. You know it's clickable Tetris. But do you know how satisfying it is to pet these slimes?
(Well, it can be annoying, depends on how much do you love slime that goes weeeeee~)
