I must say, recent events have made me so tired, I just want to get out there and do something new again. So I'm considering participating in this game jam.

After all, I'm doing to relieve me of the grind and get out of the usual rhythm of life. I've just been so overwhelmed with everything, so this will be more of a way to relax and let loose (despite perhaps being contrary to the spirit of a game jam) for me.

Ok, with that out of the way, I recently got my hands on PICO-8, and for this jam I'll most likely experiment with making a tiny game with it, and just to let my creativity flow with the limitations it has in place.

We'll see what I can do. It might not be the best thing I've ever done, but it will be a mental reset for me.

That being said, I may simply end up not participating to take care of my health, but we'll see. If I do, I will make sure to prioritize fun in the process over all else.
