Doing good
Good start, and great brainstorming for ideas with my wife.

Good start, and great brainstorming for ideas with my wife.

Just uploaded my game, Empty Soul! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/empty-soul

It is an adventure to discover what lies between life and death. It was developed by myself with Unity, there is no sounds yet and I used Kenney assets.

I think it was good enough for a first solo Jam, hope you'll like it and I plan to continue it later with more time to design the idea.
Had some time so I just updated the file with a few corrections so you guys can reach the last chamber:

Trying some 2d art after the lessons learned from the LD45.. Too bad the idea is too long and I'm slow =/, that's all I have so far:

Pivoted from the original idea to keep the Pac-man style alive with new mechanic

After changing a lot from the original idea, it have finally a name!

You are Playin in a dream of a game, if it was alive, unless it is, being kept alive by the collective consciousness and dreaming weird dreams…

Thank you all in advance and I would love to know your thoughts and interpretations on it. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/pacmans-weird-dream
Had some great learning in this Jam, not only about managing time, but also managing ideas. I decided to pivot from the initial idea in the middle of the Jam and had nothing in mind. But well, it's a Jam, have fun, so I kept going until something playable came up. In the end, Pacman's Dream is the result of keeping the Jam alive and coding without a clear goal. Even though I'm not really happy with it, I'm thankful at least have something to share that has some meaningful symbols.
Feel free to Play, Rate and Comment.

Some of the not implemented ideas.
1) The Dreamer would have 3 stages of awakeness and have different special moves.

2) Boss fight with random symbolical figure, 3 times marking: - Beginning of the life path - The inner search - The destine
3) End short story when died, talking about your path related to the selected Bosses you confronted.
Maybe it was too much for this Jam, but next one will be better, it always is!

Man, I was so frustrated and tired at the end of the Jam that I freaking opted out the wrong categories. I really wanted Graphics and didn't even had time to think about sound, but I opted out Graphics and let Audio.... Shit!
I fixed it now, but, lost many votes I guess... So... Just keep the head up and learn from the mistakes, have fun and be cool.
Well, thank you all, the game is there, with Graphics and no Audio if you want to kindly vote for the right options now. :sob::sob::sob: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/pacmans-weird-dream
Of course any theme can be transformed into a good game, I don't blame on it, but I think this one didn't lead to many creative ideas (regarding the theme only, I saw many creative mechanics, art audio etc), I include myself on it too.
Maybe it was that one theme that everyone thought it wouldn't be chosen and voted 0 or +1, and the other good themes received either +1 or -1

You sneaky thing you!
Believe it or not, minutes earlier I saw that I had missed that theme and thought "Well, that is not going to be the one... I'm gonna let it be".
Here is my Jam submission. I wanted to make it short for this Jam so I made it under 48 hours. Hope you all like and relax a bit and and don't forget the feedback!
