Hello everyone, I’m very new here, I shyly see things from far since quite a long time…But I now really want to get involved !

I don’t know how everything exactly works but I’m gonna really digg everything next weekend.

If I made an attempt (will prepare for LD #24), I will probably use Html5/Javascript, pixel art graphics (did I mention I loooove Pixel Art) made with gimp, and hopefully some beep with sfxr.

With a bit of excitment and nervosity : Cheeeers !

Hi all !

It will be my first time participating at Ludum Dare…I’m a bit excited !

My tools will be :

Notepad++ : HTML / JS / probably EaselJS or other framework if needed

Gimp : Awesom(ly quickly made) Pixel Art !

Sfxr / Musagi : For bleeps and tunes (thx @DrPetter !)

I don’t feel like I’m enought prepared..but I have a chance to make it, so let’s do this !

Globablly, a webpage with title and a canvas.

JQuery and EaselJS are loaded, listeners are listenning, and there is also an AssetManager class for loading assets (from some Google IO..)..Ho..and my logo fading, that’s it !

Ok…after brainstorm, sleep shower, eating, and a few hours of coding, here it is :

The game is gonne be named “PixEvolution” !

Your character is a pixel, a simple one at first, then he can evolve, and so do the gameplay, and the music..gonna make about 3 or 4 evolution if I can..

First 2 gameplay are almost done, basic tilemap with horrible assets is setup, tweaking time now !!

I’m glad I somehow ‘finished’ something, even if it missed 60% of the whole (small) game I wanted to do…

My HTML5/JS game is named “PixelVolution”d

Even if I didn’t go as far as I wanted to, it was great fun ! I will do more game jams, this is sure !
