We did it! It's out! Helsing!

This is our first Ludum Dare game jam. I hope we're proud of what we've done!

It should be (hopefully) stable. Fingers crossed! So far we only have desktop builds, but we hope to add a WebGL build in the future.

Enjoy!

Here are our results for Helsing

We are honestly, genuinely surprised at how well this went, especially since this is our first Ludum Dare entry, for everyone on the team.

Thanks everyone for your support and for trying this game out. We're definitely making plans to make something bigger out of this, even if just as a simple extension of the original game.

If you haven't had a chance to try it out, here's the link to the game itself.

And here's a link to the Ludum Dare entry. Feedback is still much appreciated, especially as we start to set our eyes on making something larger than the original concept.

It's out!

Enjoy the insanity...

Coin Op(erative) now available on the Mac!

I managed to borrow an OSX box to build a Mac port of my jam game, since someone called it out as a need.

Mac users, try it and lemme know if there's issues! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/coin-operative

Web coming later!

My first compo! I'm so proud...

Now to see how I can ruin it within the last hour remaining...

Thanks for helping me reach 20 reviews for my "Not a game"!

ludumemdare/em45.png

Wow! I really wasn't expecting to hit this number so fast, especially when people have to build their own level just to win.

Usually entries are pretty neck and neck with how many reviews I've left. Thanks for all your support!

If you haven't had a chance to try it out, enjoy: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/start-with-no-game

I think I'll be spending the remaining review season in the "Danger Zone", helping as many entries to reach 20 as I can. It's only fair.

Meanwhile, I'm planning to make another build of this idea with some additional mechanics and blocks to play with. Maybe a direct sandbox. Who knows?! Direct feedback and ideas are much appreciated!

24 hour snapshot

Well... there's a system in place and it's showing the little state machine churning inside...

Already deep regrets taking on such a large concept idea. We're winging it!

Yeah, no way in H*ck... (Tiny Daemons)

I was aiming for Compo this time around, but I waaay overscoped it the moment I decided on "AI" and "Tweakable behaviors" at the same time.

Surprised I could make something look like non-descript FPS shooter characters from a 90s game, though. Using the most basic shapes!

It makes for a sandbox, but I really think thing this needs improvement before submitting. They can't even do damage to one another!

Still aiming for Jam, though... maybe I'll throw in external assets now that I'm less confined. Wish me luck!

This is fine... Doomed.gif

Whew! And we're live!

With barely 20 minutes to spare... What a chaotic mess...

Now to calm down, play some other entries, and then take a nap.
