I’m in too!

I decided that i’m not that much tired, and i think i’ll give it a go :)

So here’s what i’ll use.

Lang: Haxe & NME

I’ll be using my own tools and libraries, or some projects from github.

Maybe a tile editor that i’ll pick from Tools section.

I don’t know about sound, and i don’t know if it’s a compo entry or jam entry, don’t push me !

Anyway, be sure to check the link above, i think a lot of people will find that tool useful.
(P.S. all my libraries are contained in github > https://github.com/onatbas);

Happy ludum dares! and may the odds be ever in your favor !

I retreat !!

It’s been fun,  but i think one should know where to give up :) It’s not going to be complete in time, maybe tomorrow i’ll be able to get things done after work, but i don’t think so.  What is different than the other jam entries is this time i tried to write pretty nice code, instead of complicated one.  And this was time consuming, until now i could only finish, map parser, npcs, decoration parser, player control, camera control, npc conversations etc. but i haven’t thought about the story.

The game was about a community who is taking a temple as a shelter because of the pixelisation disaster happening outside. But as time passes, the temple partly pixelises. Our main goal is to build a tesseract and make it powerful enough to retrieve the world. in the screenshot you can see player can only see a little in its true from.

It was going to be an adventure kind-of game. But i didn’t have time to finish it. Maybe as a personal project i can move on with that :)

Here’s the screenshot i mentioned!

Cheers!

Additional notes:
I’ve written in haxe with nme.
the code so far is here > https://github.com/onatbas/the-temple
