We decided to participate in "Ludum Dare" with a group of students from "Scream School" (Moscow). Within the chosen topic "Start with nothing" we considered not just the lack of objects and game mechanics of our main character but also added a philosophical component. Our "Start with nothing" project embraces the absence of character's harmony with himself. By putting our character to the dark we are leading him toward the light meaning enlightenment and harmony. We based the narrative of our game on Buddhistic and Tibetan cultures. That's why we created a Tibetan monk as our protagonist and his soul as an assistant who is helping him solve different challenges and illuminating his way through the labyrinth.
