Doublecaster

LD25

Finally I am in!

I’ve been following Ludum dare for few years now. Finally I have the skills to take part in Ludum Dare!

I’ll be using Java and Eclipse. “Graphics” I’ll most likely make with paint.net.

I will be using code from my current shool project. As the rules state here is the code for that: https://github.com/Doublecaster/Space-Wars

Going to sleep now and starting my first ludum dare tomorrow.

Progress Report

Currently my game looks like this:

Progress

Next I need to implement function for all the buttons.

But first dinner time.

First day over

First day over and time to go get some sleep. My first ludum dare has been lots of fun so far.

There are sill lot of necessary features I need to add, hopefully I’ll get them all done tomorrow!

Here is what the game looks like currently:

I’m in!

This will be my second Ludum Dare. My tools for this ld will be the same as last time:

Java

Eclipse

Paint.net

and if I have time for sound effects BFXR

I am most likely going to use code from my old projects which you can all find from my github: https://github.com/Doublecaster

I also wrote a little game library in java 2D. I didn’t have time to add much to it but hopefully it’ll help. https://github.com/Doublecaster/DCGL
