Ludum Dare 59

Hi everyone!

This is my first time participating in Ludum Dare, and I can't figure out how to choose between "The Compo" or "The Jam"? I wish everyone a good mood and successful development! :)

Day 1 Update!

Remember those classic shoot-’em-ups where you pilot a plane, fire straight ahead, and constantly fend off waves of enemies closing in on you? Well, our game takes that exact concept… but displays it on a radio screen! :D

We’re also looking into adding support for custom music, so you can play with your own tracks.

Intended genre: Incremental game.

Wishing everyone the best of luck in developing your own gaming masterpieces! :D

Hey everyone! Radioblet!

👋 We put our hearts into making a great game for this jam, and I'm happy to say I managed to finish almost everything I planned! 🎉

Our game is a simple shooter that plays out on a radio screen, in the incremental game genre. 📻🎮

Plus, you can pick a track that suits your vibe—and your choice actually affects the difficulty! (Shorter track = harder challenge, longer track = easу). And with a setup like that, how could we not let you add your own music to play along? Of course we added that feature too! 🎵✨

Wishing you all a fun time playing, and I'd be super happy to see your feedback! 💬🙌

Radioblet WEB Build is now live!

Last night, one of the commenters on our game page asked us to add a WEB build. 🌐

Well, consider it done! The web build is now live on our itch.io page. 🎉

Unfortunately, I couldn't get the custom track upload feature to work in the WEB build like it does in the Windows version. 🎵❌ So, I decided to hide the "add track" button in the web version to avoid any confusion. That's the only change I made!

We'd love to hear your feedback! Thanks so much in advance! 💬🙌

⚠️⚠️⚠️

We highly recommend playing the Windows version:

  1. It looks and plays even better! 🎮
  2. You can add your own tracks and jam along with them! 🎵
  3. The Windows version has been thoroughly tested and is free of the bugs I spotted in the WEB version! ✅

Play Radioblet on your phone or tablet! ✨

Fun fact: besides game dev, my other job is bartender/barista/chef/waiter. Last night I was on a quiet night shift—super slow, barely any guests, and honestly, a bit boring. But luckily, our web build on itch.io works great on mobile! To my surprise, it runs super smoothly—and I'd even say Radioblet feels like it was made for mobile, since it's basically a cozy incremental idle time-killer.

So come join in—play on the go, during your commute, or even at work (like I did! 😉). https://dwangdev.itch.io/radioblet

And if you enjoy it, please drop us a rating! 🙏 https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/59/radioblet

Thanks so much in advance, everyone!
