I’m In, maybe

Hopefully, I’ll be able to do the Ludum Dare, as long as my schedule permits me to do so. If I am able to, I’ll be using Game Maker and sfxr.

Alone

So I just found out the theme is alone. I have no clue what to do. Nevertheless, I am going to try anyway! I have an idea so I’m going to try anyway!

Wish me luck!

Just remember dude, you’re not alone :-)

First screenshot!

Silhouettes are stylish

This is all I have to show for after 12 hours. Considered, I was asleep for about 9 hours, so this isn’t half-bad.

More screenshots

Still working on my game. The way it has been going, it will probably be done before the deadline, which fills me with joy.

Almost done!

I’m almost done with my first ludum dare! I just added semi-ambiguous room titles which tells the “plot”, which I’ve been meaning to do since I started.  The only things I need to now are to hide a kitten somewhere, come up with some sort of title for this game and to make some sort of audio.

Finally finished!

Hooray! It’s finally finished, and you can check it out here. I did put a kitten in there, but it’s hidden very well, and I don’t expect you to find it. Overall, I somewhat satisfied with it, but think I should have worked on some things a little more, especially the “plot”.

I’m entering the Mini LD #33!

Sorry if I’m a little late in posting this, I wasn’t aware there was a Mini-LD happening. But when I saw the theme, I decided I had to enter.

So yeah. The image above would be my doodle, which a drew in about three minutes. It’s a picture of some sort of blob fighting what appears to be a ninja.

At first sight I thought the right one was a ghost. “Ninja vs Ghost” 😀

Now that I think about it, the blob does look like a ghost. Oh well, I already named him Mr. Blob. Maybe I could rename him “Mr.Ghost”

Mini LD Completed!

So I finished my Mini-LD game, and it did not really come out as I had hoped. The graphics could have been better,  it lacks music and it isn’t very unique. But despite its flaws, I find it to be interesting, as it requires plenty of thinking to beat.

You can check it out here!

Heh. Super cool. And a bit addicting, until you beat it :)

Day One Progress

I hadn’t intended on making a game when I saw the theme, because I hated the theme. But a friend of mine convinced me to make a game anyway. So, this is the game I’m working on. It is a hyperpixelated game about exploring.

Done! (Almost)

I am done! Well, almost. If I didn’t have to go and add music/sounds, then I’d be done. But I’m close at least!

Lost Finished

Woo-hoo! I just finished my hyperpixelated game, and you can check it out HERE. I apologize for the large file size, the music that I made last-minute is solely responsible for it.

I’m in, probably!

I’m in! I’ll be using Game Maker 8 for programming, paint.net for visuals and audacity/whatever to create the audio.

Unless the theme is something stupid, like “potato” or “erosion”, in which case I’ll start my own event, the Erad Mudul, which will have a decent theme.

Hey! I’ve already got an idea, and hopefully it’s a good one! I’m not sure if this will produce anything good though!

Progress!

Had to restart in the morning but I’ve already gotten back to where I was before!

Halfway point

The competition is about halfway over, and I think I’m going to make it! Woo-hoo!

Line Game finished!

I just finished Line Game! You can see its page HERE, or just download it HERE. It’s a more difficult than I wanted it to be, but it turned out better than I expected.
