LD 41

Hi! My tools! Here! Look!

Hi guys! I'll be attending the LDJam from Madrid!

I will make my game with Unity, VS, Blender (maybe?), GIMP, Audacity, BFXR and FL Studio!

I'm REALLY excited for this jam since is the first one that I'm going to try to dive myself into the community. It's something that makes me a bit anxious but once every few months can't be too bad, right?

BTW I'll upload the game to my GameJolt page, so come check it every once in a while: https://gamejolt.com/@elHombreBanana

Good luck everybody! :3

ACE GOLF: BLADE BRAWLERS IS OUT!

HEY GUYS I PUBLISHED MY GAME!

Its a MOBA-Golf game where you hit the ball and the heads of your enemies with cool funk music and cell shading and stuff :D

I really put a lot of work and love in this game, so please play it and give me some feedback!ezgif.com-optimize (2).gif

MOBA + Golf + AI. What could go wrong?

This morning I submited to the LD my jam project, called "Ace Golf: Blade Brawlers"!

It's an action MOBA golf game where teams of 5 players each compite to rule a floating golf camp by smashing each others heads with their clubs!

And playing golf. Sometimes.

I managed to implement a very decent AI system to simulate what could be to play this game online. Please give it a try and share your impressions with me! :D

12 Hours left! Send me your entry and I'll play & rate it! :D

Hi everybody! How is it going?

I'm super excited to see the results of this Ludum Dare! I've been busy with work and family stuff and I haven't played as much games as I wanted, but it's not too late yet!

Since there are roughly twelve hours until the end of this oddisey, I'll ask you to post here a link to your entries so I can play them all and give you my feedback!

I'll be very glad if you play my game too! It's not necessary in order for me to play yours, since I just want to play some more games!

My best jam so far ;;

I can't believe I'm in the top 50 in four categories! ;;

Leaving the scores apart, I'm extremely happy with what I've done in this jam. Not only the game, but all the interaction with the community and their projects. It's been wonderful.

I'd like to post a list of my fav games of this LD, so if you still want me to play yours, it's not too late!

Ludum Dare 45

My third Ludum Dare, here I go! (maybe compo, probably jam)

Hi there! I'm glad I can join this jam once again. Since I started properly working on a videogame company a year and a half ago I haven't gotten into the mood of this in a while. But now I'm ready!

The tools I'll use:

  • My good ol' laptop
  • Unity 2019.2.7f1
  • GIMP 2.10
  • FL Studio 20

I want to make some pixelart as it's cheap and a bit familiar (I'm pretty bad at it though)

Good luck everyone! I can't wait to play your future games, honestly <3

I'm onto something!

I spent the first hours getting the UI system ready to show dialogs and choices to the player!

I decided not to wrap the gameplay around the theme. Instead, I'll attempt to create a story that fits adequately, but I'm not sure how that's going to end up, as I'm not used to do anything related to narrative writing.

Well, it's being fun to work on it for now!

Just a sneak peek on our main two characters: You and the All Mighty Dolphin of Sooth. dolphin.gif What do you think? :eyes:

Basic Tilemaps + 8-Directional movement

I'm finishing off with the tilemaps to make the game map (god bless Unity Tilemaps). I'm taking references from Downwell to make the walls & trees as quickly as possible, as I need to start crafting the plot ASAP.

I also made the 8 directional movement system for when the player is not inside buildings/caves.

I think it looks quite nice! Now I'm going for a walk and then I'll keep making the game map. Good luck everyone!

Half the music done + Final title!

Hi there! How's the jam going?

I decided to abandon the compo (as always) and go easy with this. I want to make a good game before everything else.

And I made some music already!

There are just 3 tracks for now, I hope I can make other 3 tonight after I wrap everything up.

If you want to listen to them, here is a link!

If you like them, please let me know. I'm a bit stressed because of the time running out and some kind words would be really appreciated <3

Also, the game will be titled The Dolphin of Sooth. Pretty straightforward, but I didn't want to name the game with a theme reference.

Have a nice day, and good luck everyone!

At last! Published!

I'm so glad I could finish this jam, after a year and a half of suffering creative block.

Please, give it a try and tell me what do you think!

I'll start playing your games on Wednesday, as it's a local holiday where I live!

Have a sweet day/night, everyone!

The Dolphin of Sooth v1.0.3 is out!

Hi there!

I just uploaded a small update to The Dolphin of Sooth!

I'd like as many feedback as possible, both of the JAM and Post JAM version, so please check the game out!

What's new?

  • Now the player can run: press X to go slightly faster!
  • Fixed some typos in the dialogues.
  • Fixed some tree collisions near Mae Town.
  • Cats now purr and have extra dialogues!

Have a wonderful day everyone <3
