Tools we'll be using: * Unity * Photoshop * GitHub * Bosca Ceoil * Texture Packer * Sprite Illuminator

Some other things we will be doing that will hopefully save us a bit of time during our 72 hour adventure include:

• create a separate unity project and went ahead and downloaded some art and sound assets we purchased to save some time importing them as needed
• set up the itch.io page where our game will live
• close up some open questions we had from building 2 > 1
• found a babysitter for our 2.5 year old for one of the mornings
• cross our fingers that our 6 month old will be content and want to nap all day
• set up a second work station
• stock the fridge with easy/healthy meals and a few unhealthy snacks too!

Once the game jam is done, we’ll have to circle back and figure out what helped us, what would have helped us, and what really made no difference at all.

It's on the books. We, as a husband/wife duo, with two kids under 3 at home, finished a game for our first game jam together! We had fun, learned a ton, and only had a couple of fights along the way. Hope you enjoy the game!

Please play Flare and let us know what you think! It's easier to play with a friend (local coop) but can be played alone - it just messes with your head a bit.

WebGL build only works for Windows (sometimes) but we also have a Windows and a Mac build.
