LD 44

Finally. Giving it my first go.

After putting it off again and again, I'll finally actually give it a shot. 48 hours. I'll be streaming it too if you want to watch the disaster. Anyway. There's no twitch category for Ludum Dare (anymore?) so what do you guys set instead? I'm on linux, and will be using godot3, and any other tools i need (gimp, audacity, etc)

Everybody remembers their first time.

First time, submitted with just shy of an hour to spare, and I'm really happy with the result!

Not because it's a good game (I'm the first to admit- it's not a good game), but because I managed to get something that is playable, that it can actually (at least in theory) be beaten, and I find the game mechanics interesting enough to maybe even be worth developing further some day.

I definitely exceeded my original goal; to crash and burn. Crash and burn, and while doing so get a feel for how much can actually be achieved in 48 hours. To be a trial run for the next Ludum Dare. Because there will definitely be a next one!

Thank you all for making this happen!

Ludum Dare 45

I'm in. Again!

I was really happy with how my first ld48 turned out, and I hope I don't crash and burn the second time around. :D I'm based entirely in linux. I'll be streaming the whole thing, same as last time, and I'll be using godot3 or ue4 (haven't decided, ue4 has been really unreliable on my system for some reason).

Good luck, and have fun!

Ludum Dare 46

Good luck, have fun!

Third LD for me, first time doing something in Unity (used Godot for my previous submissions). Will stream it all at https://twitch.tv/falstro if you want to join me and see me struggle. ;) All-linux setup, code editing in VIm, Blender, GIMP... Happy to answer any questions I can!

[Edit: learned the hard way that if you hit publish without hitting save, it'll publish nothing, and you'll lose what you typed ;)]

Third LD Compo, first time I'm interested in getting a rating. Got a minute?

This is my third Ludum Dare, and first where I'm satisfied enough with game that I'm even remotely interested in getting a rating  I'm 3-4 ratings short of the 20, and time is running out - if anyone feel like they'd have a few minutes to spare I'd sincerely appreciate any help getting over 20. I've been playing and rating games, but missed that only feedback matters for smart rating now, and managed to shoot myself in the foot here. I'm actually kinda proud of this one - minus the bugs.
