Get ready everyone!

So, the idea I have so far is a Platformer Visual Novel. The novel being the main portion you progress through your life, but depending on your choices you have to platform through tough spots in your life while being chased by physical manifistations of your fears and problems. Any thoughts and/or problems on my idea?

I know how to display images and animations for the background and all that, but how do you get dialog and choices setup. Any idea how to do it?
